Location: the hotel was very close to a hill away from the noise of the city and Kandy and the botanical gardens. The room we booked was stylish and airy with a fantastic view and great views, as example.

The staff here were very polite, and the location was fantastic for a nice and relaxing visit.

the location for kandy was stunning, right by main attractions, and temple of the tooth. it also was away from the centre of town. delicious and great breakfast and other services were exceptional.

We had an amazing stay at Buena Vista in Kandy. The value for money was excellent and the rooms were clean and peaceful. The location was perfect, with a stunning view of the city. The staff was kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was if the watermelon juice was served chilled.

The room was very clean, spacious, had great storage, and offered nice views of the town and garden.

We had a two-night stay at Buena Vista and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Puvannesh and Ghopal, were incredibly attentive and even cooked delicious meals for us. Puvannesh also provided helpful recommendations, like visiting Pidurangala Rock instead of Sigirye, which turned out to be a great decision. The Geoffrey Bawa designed villa was stunning, with comfortable rooms, a spacious living area, library, and terrace. The views of the city from the rooms and terrace were breathtaking and much cooler and quieter than central Kandy.

Totally recommend this hotel.

This guesthouse has 3 spacious rooms with a hillside view. The housekeeper is polite and cooks delicious food. The location is convenient, 10 minutes from the railway station and attractions. The century-old rustic home is beautifully maintained. The library room has an interesting collection of books.

I had an amazing stay at The Buena Vista Kandy. The staff, Gopal and Puvannesh, made me feel incredibly welcome and provided excellent service. The New Year's Eve dinner they prepared for me was absolutely delicious. The hotel itself is a charming old house with a breathtaking view of Kandy. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I also enjoyed the hotel's facilities, including the lovely garden where I had breakfast overlooking the city. The hotel's location just outside of the busy town area was perfect, as it provided a peaceful atmosphere while still being close enough to the center for convenience.

Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were taken care of during my stay. Moreover, the food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, offering a great taste of local cuisine.

Limited accessibility. The hotel is located uphill and it can be a bit challenging to reach the city center.
